About
Dr Ayla Wilson, ND
Dr Ayla Wilson, ND is a doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and the founder of High Five Family Health – which she opened in the fall of 2017 in Gastown (Vancouver, BC) after seven years in private practice in Edgemont Village (North Vancouver, BC).
Born and raised in Vancouver, Dr Ayla Wilson, ND attended the University of British Columbia for her pre-med studies before completing a 4-year Naturopathic Medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (Boucher Campus) in New Westminster, BC.
Dr. Wilson’s passion is treating childhood conditions (in particular PANDAS / PANS and autism spectrum disorder), and she built High Five Family Health on a simple philosophy: see the individual not the diagnosis, and the underlying cause rather than the symptoms of the disease. As a testament to her philosophy, she uses a wide variety of treatments and modalities to treat her patients – which she caters to the needs of every patient that she works with.
In addition to treating PANDAS / PANS, Dr Ayla Wilson, ND also sees patients with Mold Illness, Mast Cell Activation Disorder, immune system dysfunction and autoimmune disease, chronic infections and Lyme disease, POTS/Dysautonomia, CIRS, hormonal imbalances, male and female fertility, women’s health, childhood conditions (such as ADHD, autism, PDA, cerebral folate deficiency, asthma, eczema), and gastrointestinal conditions.
She also holds a number of industry affiliations and additional training in pharmaceutical prescribing, bio-identical hormone therapy, IV therapy, chelation therapy, nutrition and nutraceuticals, lifestyle counselling and botanical medicine.
Dr Ayla Wilson, ND is registered and in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC) and the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). Dr. Ayla Wilson is currently accepting patients for in office or TeleHealth (phone or video) consultation within British Columbia, Ontario, or unregulated provinces and territories of Canada.
